Mynt Detox Day 1
Today is the first day of my Mynt Core Challenge and I’m in the Mynt Detox phase. These are obviously my before photos so please be nice as I’m very sensitive about how I look. I’m taking the 8 week challenge to lose weight but more importantly boost my self-esteem and get healthy again.
I would like to be fit and in shape for my own self esteem and for health reasons. I don’t think that I’m really “fat” or anything, I just feel sluggish and out of shape. My clothes don’t look nice and I just feel somewhat slobby and unsexy in my current state. I’m the mother of 3 children and getting my shape back has been a struggle for me. I would try different diets and I would lose weight, but I never really developed any clean eating habits and fitness habits. This blog is going to be my motivation to keep going, to do this 8-week challenge and to thrive beyond it with a healthy diet and exercise.
The Mynt Core Challenge Starts with the Mynt Detox. The Detox Kit comes with Core Shake Mix, Core Boost Cleanse (an all natural, non-stimulant cranberry cleanse), a blender bottle and the Core nutritional program guidebook. This Mynt Detox kit does sell separately if you’re looking to just lose your bloat. I personally need more than just de-bloat; I need a healthier lifestyle in general.
Mynt Detox meals include 1 protien, 1 carb and 1 fat. Also known in Mynt Core social circles as “PCF.” What I think makes the Mynt Core Challenge different than other “diets” is that you’re allowed to eat something every 3 hours. The protein, fat and carb amounts per meal are all laid out for you in the guidebook that comes with the 8-week transformation kit. I am going to be putting up pictures of my Mynt Core meals and recipes as I go along.
I am currently 5′ 3″ tall and I weigh 145 lbs. as of March 9th, 2015.
Here are my top and bottom before photos, be nice, it’s not easy put yourself out there. I’m doing it so that I can motivate myself and look back and see how far I’ve come in this journey. I’m not saying I’m “fat” I’m just saying I need some work and I need to develop some healthy eating and exercise habits. That’s what Core is; it’s a nutritional program that teaches you how to live a healthier lifestyle.
Day 1 of the Core Mynt Detox
Day 1 of the Challenge and Detox has been a little rough, I think not having coffee and creamer this morning was probably the hardest part of the day although the chocolate shakes were a delicious start, it still wasn’t the same. Another thing I find challenging is drinking the recommended 8 glasses of water a day, I didn’t realize how much that was until today. I probably peed 25-30 times, I’m sure my body will adjust in time though. I already know it’s all going to be well worth it when I start seeing results.
