Mynt Core Challenge Breakfast Ideas
Here are some Mynt Core Challenge breakfast ideas to help you out during the week. I keep it really simple. I don’t have a lot of time to be preparing some of these fancy things that I see on Facebook but I do just fine with what I do eat. These are some actual breakfasts that I eat during the week. Most of these are suitable for the detox phase, but anything with grains, like the oatmeal, you’re going to have to wait for the Ignite phase. The Ignite phase makes up 7 of the 8 weeks of the challenge, so these breakfast ideas should help.
Mynt Core Challenge Breakfast
About 3-4 times a week I will make raw vegetable and fruit juice. My typical Mynt Challenge breakfast juice will consist of spinach, carrots, banana, berries, coconut oil and chia seeds (or flax seeds). I use the occasional cucumber, kale and other greens when they are available.
Because every meal in the 8-week challenge to lose weight has to have a protein, fat and carb I make sure to balance my raw vegetable juice out. A lot of the times I don’t add the protein to my juice, I will eat egg whites on the side. Adding Greek yogurt to your raw vegetable juice is an option if you want to make it a balanced Core meal in a glass.
Mynt Core Breakfast Smoothie Ideas
- 1/2 Spinach (free food)
- Carrots (carb)
- Banana (carb)
- Berries (carb)
- Coconut Oil (fat)
- Flax Seeds or Chia Seeds (fat)
I change up the ingredients depending on what is on sale. I always eat some egg whites with my breakfast smoothie to get the protein, fat, and carb balance in my meal. We call this (in the Core Community) PFC every 3. You eat a protein, carb and fat every 3 hours to stabilize your blood sugar and release stored fat. Flax seeds have a funny taste and chia seeds do not, so if you’re making this for kids too, keep that in mind.
Mynt Core Challenge Breakfast Routine
I usually have 2 breakfasts each day. My first one is usually a Mynt Core Shake with banana and peanut butter before my workout. After my workout, I will then shower and eat my breakfast meal. A Mynt Core Shake is a meal, but I prefer an actual breakfast after my workout and something lighter before.
The chocolate, banana, peanut butter shake idea belonged to my best friend. It’s a staple in my Core program. I drink 2-3 of them a day, no joke! If you’re not a shake person, you can have a meal instead. I personally love the shakes because they are delicious, quick and easy.

I eat a lot of egg whites for breakfast. Egg whites are considered a protein. You can add a yolk in if you would like it to count as your fat and sometimes I do.
